I have covered in detail as to how I worked towards bringing clarity in my new venture.
I saw some distinct advantages, some of them I have listed below.
#1- Clarity gave me Direction and Focus.
As I worked towards answering the two questions –
Whom will you serve? What will you serve them with?
I knew exactly what kind of companies I had to reach out to.
This gave me the conviction that I was moving in the right direction.
#2- Clarity gave me Confidence to pitch.
Finding my skills and strengths gave me clarity with my service offerings.
As a result I could build my stack of collaterals and was very confident in delivering a high quality work to my potential customers.
#3 – Clarity helped in Communicating purpose
While reaching out to my prospects, it was easy for me to pitch with confidence and communicate the purpose of my call to them. This helped me connect with them better and at the same time the quality of engagement improved.
#4 – Clarity in follow ups encouraged my customers to take action
My follow up mails had very precise call-to-action as a result, my prospect knew exactly what was expected of them.
#5 – Clarity brought in lot of trust and transparency
As my messages were very concise and precise, my prospects found it easy to comprehend and respond without worrying about the consequences. This helped me build trust which is the foundation of any business engagement.
#6 – Clarity helped set the expectations right
I structured every email in a manner that it clearly stated what is it that I can offer and how much time and resources would be required for that. This helped set the expectation right as the customer knew what will be deliverables of the engagement.
In summary, my suggestion to you readers is that strive towards bringing clarity in whatever task is at hand, it will not only improve your confidence; it will also help bring in lot of discipline in you.
